While working with CBC Sports covering the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Mike worked in a section of the Olympic Features Unit dedicated to integrating branded featured content into our regular content stream, while effectively pushing viewers to view video features on Canadian Olympians. This fun ‘Player Selection’ screen animation was created to showcase the different athlete’s that can be seen in the short feature series “The Quest” brought to viewers by OLG. Using game themes and vintage design, our team was able to produce an informational piece of content that grabs and retains the attention of the viewer. I designed and animated this project alongside @malikxaviercox and the rest of our team.
